In this course, students will be introduced to general accounting concepts and how they relate to some of the unique issues of the wine industry. Students will learn how to read, interpret and improve the financial results of a winery using the case study method, and by completing group and individual activities. Attendees will gain new perspective of the drivers of financial success in the wine industry and how to impact them.
This course is one of four courses required for the Certificate in Wine Industry Finance & Accounting.
