Airport

Two Options:

  • Fly directly to Sonoma County Airport (STS). Then, take a Lyft, Uber, or Taxi to the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park, CA.
  • Fly into San Francisco Airport (SFO). Then, take a shuttle; we recommend the Sonoma County Airport Express, which will take you directly to the Doubletree Hotel. OR, rent a car at the airport and drive 1.5 hours to the Doubletree Hotel.

 

Ground Transportation

Transportation (a shuttle) will be provided from the Doubletree Hotel to the Sonoma State University campus. 

However, should you want to do some touring before or after the conference, feel free to rent a car at the Sonoma County Airport.

 

Hotel/Accommodation

We have requested a block of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at a discounted rate of $149 per night for a standard room. Rooms at this price are subject to availability on a first-come basis. We will try to extend the number of rooms available at this price if available.

** Please ensure you have breakfast at your hotel before you leave. Breakfast will not be served on campus.

9:00 p.m.: Shuttle from SSU to Doubletree Hotel

Monday, 6/24

8:15 a.m.: Shuttle from Doubletree Hotel to SSU

8:30 a.m.: Session 1: New business models and disruptive technologies in education (presentation)
10:30 a.m.: Session 2: Specialized Programs (benefits & challenges of 2 case studies)
12:00 p.m.: Lunch
1:00 p.m.: Session 3: Learning about Innovation & Design (a hands-on workshop)
2:30 p.m.: Break
2:45-4:15 p.m.: Session 4: Alumni Engagement: Turning Sour Relationships to Fruitful Wine (facilitated discussion)
4:30 p.m.: Bus leaves for Wine Tasting & Tour
5:30 p.m.: Wine Tasting & Tour (Sonoma County Wineries)
7:00 p.m.: Dinner (Sonoma County Winery)
9:30 p.m.: Bus returns from Wine Tasting & Tour

Tuesday, 6/25

10:30 a.m.: Session 6: Trends & numbers, followed by a facilitated workshop: Resilience in the face of declining MBA enrollments.
12:30 p.m.: Lunch (packed lunch upon request)
