John Garn has an extensive background in developing, designing, implementing, and leading successful sustainability programs. As part of the Cambrian Innovation, John worked with wastewater technology start-up from MIT to deploy new bioelectrical treatment system first developed for NASA. In British Columbia, he worked with grape growers to identify, develop and implement a sustainable winegrowing irrigation efficiency program to reduce water use in the expanding grape growing region of the Okanagan Valley. John developed the Napa Certified Green Winery program in 2007, and is actively working to revive winery and land programs with a goal of 100% participation by all wineries by the end of 2020.
