Program Overview:
The School of Business and Economics, Wine Industry Finance & Accounting Online Certificate provides an overview of financial and accounting concepts that enables you to make better business decisions and advance your wine career. Taught by wine industry professionals in the finance and accounting fields, students explore key wine-specific accounting concepts and principals, and financial strategy, planning, and management for wine businesses.
Who Should Enroll:
- Wine industry professionals with limited experience in finance and accounting can take these courses to gain practical knowledge and financial literacy skills.
- Finance and accounting professionals can take these courses to expand and deepen their knowledge of best practices in finance and accounting for the wine industry or to earn CPE credits towards maintaining CPA licensure.

- BUS 858W - Focus: Cost Analysis for Wine Business Master Course
- Offered once or twice a year
- 4 weeks
- 4.7 CPE Credits
- Cost Analysis course is recommended but any 4 week Master course will qualify for the Focus course

Curriculum Requirements:
Students in the online Certificate in Wine Business Management complete 20 weeks of courses. Three required Courses Foundation (8 weeks), Advanced (8 weeks) and 4 weeks of Elective courses. Cost Analysis is the recommended elective course for this certificate but any 4 week Master course can be taken in place of the Cost Analysis course. There is no time limit to complete the certificate program. Average time to complete is 12 months.
How To Register:
All applicants must apply through this web page. Required items for a complete application are answers to all required questions on the application plus a current resume/CV. All accepted students will receive an email from the program coordinator with the registration links for the Foundation level course. Once you advance to the next levels by passing each course with a C or better, you will receive emails with registration links to another email with your eligible courses.
Estimated Cost:
The cost of this program is approximately $2,995. Payment is made at the time of registration, so your payments will be spread out over the three.
