The MBA Alumni Forum is committed to bringing you a world-class event with an exceptional leader and entrepreneur, and while this cancellation is unexpected, we are happy to share that Jens Hoj, Jon's partner (from Krave to Sonoma Brands) will be speaking in his place. Jens will highlight his role in driving innovation, product development, and team building at the event.
What does it take to become a successful entrepreneur?
Jens has been part of Sonoma Brands since the firm’s inception in 2015, bringing with him years of entrepreneurial experience and culinary expertise. Jens currently serves in a cross-functional leadership role and leads all R&D initiatives for Sonoma’s portfolio. Prior to joining Sonoma Brands, Jens was the co-founder of KRAVE Jerky, which ultimately was acquired by The Hershey Company in 2015. Jens spent his childhood in the kitchen learning from his father, a Master Chef, collecting valuable skills and knowledge, establishing his passion for the culinary arts and hospitality. After finishing culinary school, Jens cut his teeth at Chez Panisse before transitioning into management with the likes of Park Hyatt, Hotel Nikko, Cypress Club, and Moana Restaurant Group. These experiences crafted Jens’ unique perspective on innovation and ability to take flavor concept from ideation to reality-both in his own kitchen and commercially.
