Managers are entrusted with the responsibility for achieving organizational objectives through the coordination of technology, materials, money, and most importantly, people. Managers, plan, organize, lead, and control to achieve the organization's mission and vision. They are skillful motivators, problem-solvers, and decision makers. 

Students seek management trainee positions upon graduation where they are taught how to run business units. A logical career path leads from trainee to manager, district manager, area manager, and division manager.

Concentration Requirements

  1. Complete All Lower-Division Business Major Requirements.
  2. Complete All Upper-Division Core Requirements.
  3. Complete five courses from the list below.
